The event, held at Lintech’s 120,000-square-foot facility, aimed to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities for the community.
First responders from Richmond, Wayne County, and various state agencies participated in the training, gaining familiarity with the layout and operations of Lintech’s upgraded facility. Acquired and modernized in 2017, the warehouse features advanced safety and security systems, including a state-of-the-art foam fire suppression system, making it an ideal venue for emergency response exercises. “We’re committed to the safety of our employees as well as the safety of our first responders and the community,” said Randy Griffin, VP of Operations. “By opening our doors to local first responders, we improve their ability to handle potential incidents at our facility and contribute to the overall safety preparedness of Richmond and Wayne County.”

Community outreach is a key component of the Code, encouraging member companies to engage with local stakeholders and first responders to ensure safety and preparedness.
